KTM Duke 200
KTM Variant
Expert opinion and recommendation
The KTM Duke 200 BS6 is now a polished and matured bike, but it has lost some of its initial charm. The price hike makes it worth considering only if you're a die-hard fan, as other KTMs offer better value for money.

On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges.

Well, talking about the design, the bike gets a complete design change which is really fresh to see. It gets 1290 Super Duke R-inspired styling and is based on the design language of Duke 250. The headlamp design of the bike is similar to that of Duke 250. Talking about the headlamp, it gets an all-new angular LED headlight setup that comes mated to LED DRLs. It gets a split seat design and rides on a lightweight steel trellis frame.
Borrowing the design traits from its elder siblings, the 2024 KTM Duke 200 has received an aggressively fresh design which uses a bolted subframe. In addition to that, the new model of the 200cc Duke has got an updated rear sub-frame, new split seats, and a new fuel tank, which has been borrowed from the KTM Duke 250. The instrument console of the motorcycle has not been updated and it continues to feature the same all-digital console as seen on the BS4 model of the bike.

With the BS6 engine upgrade, the bike gets an extra catalytic converter to reduce the sound and to comply with the emission norms. The BS6-compliant model of the bike contributes towards lesser pollution compared to its BS4 model. Talking about the exhaust system, It continues to feature an underbelly exhaust which is completely blacked out now.
KTM Duke 200 Instrument Console

Friends i have to say something i am not saying that duke is bad bike but in terms of price the duke 200 is not value for money since 2012 launch the ex showroom price was around 1.17 lakh but now just look at the price 1.46 lakh and on road price around 1.69so just think guys 1.84 Lk there are many bikes like dominar 400 u r getting 35 bhp 35 torque n abs also or u can go for 200 ns Apache 200 but still you want ktm then go for duke 250 or 390 don't buy rc 200 or duke 200 its a waste of money thank you
KTM engine sound is not pleasant
I have a 2 year old ktm buke. Worst bike when it comes to maintenance. Spare parts are very costly. . One or the other spare part is gone in every 2months. Any spare part replacement will cost you anywhere between 1500 - 8000 and service will cost 3500-6000.
If you still wanna buy the bike then be ready to pay more to spares then you pay for petrol.
can anyone tell me which is better, Duke 200 or RC 200. ?
and is there back pain occured while riding .
Can any1 tell me d avrg of duke ktm 200 in city....
i wanna buy ktm duke 200 but i got rumours that the bike was as not much good in maintance and the new bike itself must go bring for servicing every 2 months due to some internal problems.i think u guys can help me knowing wht the actual problem
how much the weight of two person that the seats can hold...maximum..
KTM duke max torque is 19.2 nm at 8000rpm where as karizma r new model torque is 19.35 nm at just 6000 rpm ,so how can we say ktm is better than karizma in pick up ?ktm has max power of 24.2hp at 10000rpm .karizma power is 19.85 hp at just 7500rpm .it is not safty to run bike beyond 100kmph .with karizma r we can beat 100kmph at the earlier stage than ktm or any other bike of 225 cc sector.customers normally goes at 80 to 110kmph .we can achiev that range of speed easily at low rpm with less effort on karizma r .we dont need speed of 140 and above .if we want it is better to go for KAR/CAR .Max speed of ktm is 138 max speed of karizma r is 126. it is 12kmph more.even its design speed is 126 it goes beyond that up to 140kmph .unfortunately hero compny launched new model and forced to close the production due to poor sales since new model is rejected by commuterse.sports sports so what about bikes of 10 to 30 lakhs?
duke is best i have for 1 years for my opinion i always prefer duke200 mileage is best and sporty look gives better look
