Recent news and announcements

KTM India is set to launch the updated 2024 125 Duke soon, with units already arriving at dealerships. The new model retains the same 124.7cc liquid-cooled engine but gets a new instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and updated switchgear. I believe the addition of these modern features will make the bike more appealing to tech-savvy riders.
September 30, 2024
The 2024 KTM 125 Duke has been unveiled with significant updates, including a new all-LED headlight, a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, and cornering ABS with a Supermoto mode. The bike also features a revised trellis frame, aluminium subframe, and swingarm, along with upgraded brakes and suspension. I think these updates make the 125 Duke a compelling option in the 125cc segment, especially with its enhanced tech and safety features.
September 30, 2024
The 2024 KTM 125 Duke is expected to launch in India around December 2024, with an estimated price of Rs. 2 lakh. The bike will come with styling updates, including a new headlight setup, sleeker body panels, and a redesigned tail section. I think the new design and features will help the 125 Duke stay competitive in the market.
August 30, 2024

Just days after the unveiling of the new 2024 KTM Duke 390, the Austrian bike maker has taken the wraps off its latest entry-level offering, the Duke 125. The small beginner-friendly streetfighter from KTM gets a major update over its predecessor, borrowing a lot of styling cues from its new-gen Duke 390 sibling. KTM will launch the 2024 Duke 125 in the Indian market, although it could get a few changes to keep the costs in check.

September 19, 2023
KTM Indias most affordable offering, the 125 Duke, has received a price hike for the new financial year, increasing by Rs. 6,800. This hike follows several previous price increases since its launch in 2018. I believe the continuous price hikes might make the bike less attractive to budget-conscious buyers.

Ex Showroom Price vs On Road Price
Ex-Showroom Price is the Manufacturing Cost of the vehicle + Dealer/Seller Profit + GST (Goods and Service Tax) + Transportation Charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges.
