Recent news and announcements

The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja H2R ABS has been unveiled, boasting a supercharged 998cc engine that produces 321.5 hp and 121.5 lb-ft of torque. This closed-course hypersport motorcycle is not street-legal and comes with advanced features like Kawasakis Cornering Management Function (KCMF) and Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System (KIBS). The bike also features carbon fiber aerodynamic downforce generating devices and highly durable paint. I believe this bike is a testament to Kawasakis commitment to innovation and performance.
November 12, 2024
Kawasaki has emphasized the importance of proper maintenance for the Ninja H2R ABS, requiring service inspections every 15 hours of engine operation above 8,000 rpm. The bike must be stored on front and rear stands to prevent tire deformation, and tire warmers are mandatory to ensure sufficient grip. I think these strict maintenance guidelines highlight the bikes high-performance nature and the need for careful handling.

Rumors suggest that the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja H2R might undergo significant changes, including a possible new engine exceeding 1,000cc and advanced forced induction technology. There are also speculations about a lighter, more agile frame and a completely revamped suspension system. I believe these rumors indicate Kawasakis continuous push for innovation and performance enhancement.

The Ninja H2R ABS features a sophisticated aerodynamic design, including carbon-fiber vortex down control wings and a highly rigid carbon-fiber upper cowl. These components help reduce drag, create downforce, and optimize airflow to the supercharger. I think the attention to aerodynamics sets the Ninja H2R apart as a track-ready machine.

Kawasaki Ninja H2R has been listed on the company's India website confirming that the 'track-only' supersport is available for purchase for its buyers in India. However, this exclusive motorcycle has seen a price hike and now retails at Rs 79.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

Ex-Showroom Price is the Manufacturing Cost of the vehicle + Dealer/Seller Profit + GST (Goods and Service Tax) + Transportation Charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges.

Expert Verdict

Professional reviews and expert opinions on Kawasaki Ninja H2R

19 Dec, 22 09:07 AM

The Japanese automaker has released the latest 2023 variant of the H2. It is the fastest and craziest production motorcycle at the moment in the world. Of course, we're referring to the legendary Kawasaki Ninja H2R. The Kawasaki Ninja H2R is a racetrack-only variant of the Ninja H2. And, because it is a racetrack-only model, it costs significantly more than the base H2.

Latest 2023 version of the H2 has been released by the Japanese automaker. This is the fastest, craziest production motorcycle in the world right now. And of course, we're talking about the legendary Kawasaki Ninja H2R. The Ninja H2R is a track only variant of the Ninja H2. But because it's a racetrack only model, it's also substantially more expensive than the base H2.

There are many reasons to love the Kawasaki Ninja H2R, from its design and style to its carbon fiber materials and incredible high-speed shine. Legendary in its own right, the Kawasaki Ninja H2 is the Japanese brand flagship motorcycle. The design inspiration for Kawasaki's entire fully faired line-up. Styling of the newest 2023 Kawasaki Ninja H2R is identical to the older version. To the fairing is added an aerodynamic winglet on either side. The track spec version of the bike does not need them, so it has some extra winglets where the mirrors would normally be. As is typical for the track spec design, the bike does not have a headlight or turn signals. The bike is painted in track spec slick tyres and a special mirror finish paint scheme.

Engine and Gearbox of Kawasaki Ninja H2R

The new Kawasaki Ninja H2R is powered by a 998cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder supercharged engine. The max power output from the engine is 310 HP at 14,000 rpm and a peak torque of 165 Nm at 12,500 rpm. The power can be brought up to 326 HP @ 14,000 rpm with a RAM Air intake. A slipper and assist clutch backs up the huge engine, along with a quick shifter. Complimenting Bosch torque drive is a full suite of rider aid, including Bosch Cornering ABS supported by Bosch IMU. The motorcycle is high performance and runs on fuel having a least RON rating of 95.

Suspension, Brakes, and Tyres of Kawasaki Ninja H2R

The supercharged high-performance engine of the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja H2R has adequate hardware to take this piece of engineering to the extreme. Front forks are 43mm USD, while the rear shock is an Ohlins TTX36 gas-charged mono shock. Its suspension components are fully adjustable. The front forks are also supported by an Ohlins electronic steering damper. Stopping power is provided by twin 330mm discs with Brembo M50 Monobloc callipers on the front. The rear is fitted with a single 250mm disc and a two-piston Brembo calliper.

Key Features of Kawasaki Ninja H2R

The Kawasaki Ninja H2R comes loaded with key features. Many of these features are track-safe and suitable for the track. With the very detailed six-axis IMU supported rider aid suite, riders can get away with small mistakes. Kawasaki Cornering Management Function on the motorcycle gives the rider the capability of setting max banking and tracking the machine's banking angle. The other cutting-edge features include:

  • Traction control
  • Wheelie control
  • Slide control
  • Launch control
  • Engine brake control
  • Cornering ABS

There is also a Mirror coating special for the bike's paint scheme, so that minor scratches on the bike surface can heal.

Performance and Speed of Kawasaki Ninja H2R

The Top Speed of the Kawasaki Ninja H2R is 400 kmph, and the Mileage will be around 10-12 km/l (approx.). It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in roughly 3.07 seconds. As measured on a closed road, the Kawasaki Ninja H2R tops 400 km/h.

Competitors of Kawasaki Ninja H2R

Ducati Superleggera V4

Total production of the Ducati Superleggera V4 will be 500 units for the whole world, a good portion of which will go to be raced on the racetracks. They can't be ridden on the road, though technically they can. The Superleggera is the first of a new breed of extreme hyper sport motorcycles. There is sufficient grunt with 212bhp of power to run with Deep Blue, and more than enough electronics to compete with WSBK.

Honda CBR1000RR-R

Honda's new CBR1000RR-R is the most powerful motorcycle to enter India so far. Aerodynamic winglets, a full-color TFT screen, and an all-new LED headlight are featured. The bike is powered by a 999.9cc BS6 compliant inline four-cylinder engine that churns out 217.5PS at 14,500rpm and 113Nm of torque at 12,500rpm.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR

The Kawasaki ZX-10RR 2018 model has been released. The engine is powered by a 998cc four-stroke liquid-cooled inline three-cylinder engine, producing 197 bhp at 13,000 rpm. At 11,500 rpm, it maxes out at 113.5 Nm of peak torque.

Conclusion

The 2023 Kawasaki Ninja H2R is not a street bike but a track-focused bike. It will be of the greatest value to those who are interested in the top performance biking has to offer. At this price, it’s for true connoisseurs and has all the bells and whistles you would expect at this price point.

Dream bikes for those in search of blistering performance and supreme track dynamics are the Kawasaki Ninja H2R. It’s a serious track bike for the performance enthusiast, not your average superbike buyer. For its features, electronics, design, and ultimately unmatched performance, it beats the price hands down.

The H2 and the H2R are the pinnacle of motorcycle engineering and design. They are truly a work of art and are masterfully crafted with the finest materials.

The attention to detail is remarkable and the performance is unparalleled. I absolutely adore the look and feel of these machines and I would love to own one. Unfortunately, the price tag is a bit too high for me to justify at this time, but I am sure that there are plenty of other people out there who can appreciate these beauties.

I'm always impressed by the power of modern bikes. With the way technology has advanced, it's no surprise that the power and torque of these motorcycles has increased drastically over the years. The MV Agusta 312R F4 is a perfect example of this, with its 186 hp and 86 foot-pound of torque. It's amazing to think that this bike is several years old and yet it still has such impressive power.

I'm even more impressed by the bikes that are racing now and will be available to the public in the next couple of years. They have even more power and torque, pushing the boundaries of what we thought was possible.

It's truly remarkable and a testament to how far technology has come in the motorcycling industry.
