Hero is currently developing a couple of 300cc offerings for the Indian market, including a new adventure bike. This new adventure, likely dubbed the new XPulse 300, is expected to hit showrooms sometime next year.
The test mules suggest that the bike will have naked, semi-fairing styling. And advanced elements such as a windscreen and front beak. It will also have a small footprint and a lightweight body, which will give the rider more control over the XPulse 300. The test mules also had chrome elements and sharp rear-view mirrors, which added to their visual appeal.
For the upcoming Hero XPulse 300 adventure bike, Hero is expected to use a new 300cc motor. The specifications, including peak power and torque output figures, are unknown. But the brand is expected to pair this new engine with a six-speed gearbox.
Not much is known at the moment about the Hero Xpulse 300. We expect the new Hero XPulse 300 will include a digital instrument cluster, an electric start, and mobile connectivity. Wire-spoked wheels and dual-channel ABS are also expected as standard. Other features like all LED lights, may be included with this new bike.
The new Hero XPulse 300 will be available with front USD forks and rear mono shock suspension. The bike also has dual disc brakes with dual-channel ABS. Also, the bike has a large fuel tank and a wide seat. But the brand has yet to release the official specifications. For all we know is that the bike will have strong off-road capabilities and durable hardware.
While Hero has yet to reveal the official launch date for the new Hero XPulse 300 in India. We expect the bike will be available sometime this year. It will compete with BMW G310 GS, KTM 390 Adventure, Royal Enfield Himalayan, and Yezdi Adventure.
