Expert opinion and recommendation

The Bajaj XCD 135 DTS-Si is a solid choice for those looking for a stylish, sporty, and reliable commuter bike. With its 135cc air-cooled engine producing 10.2bhp at 7500rpm and 1.18kgm of torque at 5000rpm, it offers a smooth and vibe-free ride. The bikes performance is adequate for city riding and occasional long trips, though it may not excel in high-speed cruising or spirited riding. The handling is commendable, with a stable straightline feel and good cornering capabilities, making it a treat to navigate through congested urban traffic. However, the bike does have some drawbacks, such as engine vibration above 75 kmhr and the need for better tyres. Overall, its a good option for city riders who value its sporty looks, comfortable ride, and decent mileage.

Professional reviews and expert opinions on Bajaj XCD 135

Bajaj displayed XCD Sprint concept at the Auto Expo 2008 in New Delhi. Finally, it has been launched with a 135cc engine. But Bajaj India has changed the name - it is now XCD 135. May be Bajaj has kept "Sprint" Suffix for the upcoming Discover 150. New XCD 135 looks quite eye-catching, especially as an upgrade from the 100-110cc bikes we're used to. But as far as design is concerned it looks more or less same like the XCD 125. The Concept bike shown at Auto Expo was a superb design having chrome finished tail lamp with LEDs inside. Also the headlamp was more aggresive looking. XCD 135's headlamp looks like a carryover from Discover 135. It has familiar styling & design of the present line up of Bajaj Bikes. The Headlamp, Side-Panels, Tail Lamps reminds you of the bigger Pulsars and the Discover.

Though the build quality looks very good and feels like a well put together motorcycle. It also boasts of a self starter which is a delightful feature to have. The switches are among the best in its segment and are pretty comprehensive. It is aimed at the customers in the value segment looking for a sporty alternative.
