Expert opinion and recommendation

The Suzuki GSX-S1000F is a compelling package for those seeking a balance between performance, comfort, and practicality. With its powerful 999cc engine, derived from the GSX-R1000 but tuned for street riding, this bike delivers a smooth and potent performance. The ergonomic design, including an upright handlebar and a big windscreen, makes it comfortable for both city riding and long highway cruises. While it may not be as sharp as a superbike, its handling is impressive, and the addition of 3-mode Traction Control and ABS enhances safety. However, the suspension can be a bit hard on rough roads, but it is adjustable to suit different riding conditions. Overall, the GSX-S1000F is a solid choice for riders who want a versatile and powerful motorcycle.

There is speculation that Suzuki might introduce the GSX-S1000F in the Indian market soon, given the growing demand for high-performance naked sportbikes. Suzuki motorcycles are looking for some expansion in Indian motorcycle industry and for that, they came up with their international sport bike, the GSX-S1000F. A look at the bike will make everything clear about it. Its big, it’s fast and it’s safe. Suzuki has officially launched both the faired version and the naked version of the GSX-S series in India.

Suzuki GSX-S1000F Design & Style

The first look at the side view will make you go crazy. The front end resembles the beak of an eagle, ready to take over anytime in its way. The body seems to have heavy amounts of fairing, which no doubt suits its personality. The golden forks at the front add up to its beauty and the rear part is completely shared with the naked sibling.

Suzuki GSX-S1000F Instrument Console

A totally digital instrument console has been used in its case. The console is same as that in the GSX-S1000 and has the same features like traction control, instant fuel usage indicator etc. The tachometer, odometer and speedometer remain digital.

Suzuki GSX-S1000F Engine & Performance

The GSX-S1000F has the same 999 cc, 4-cylinder engine being used on its naked sibling. The engine is capable of producing 144 BHP @ 10,000 rpm and 105.75 NM @ 9500 rpm. The gearbox is a 6-speed manual unit, with a total weight of 214 kg for the bike. The increased weight shows that the fairing itself added just 5 kg to the bike. This shows the bike has been nicely engineered.

Suzuki GSX-S1000F Brakes & Suspension

The Braking has been handed over to twin disc brakes at the front and a single disc at the rear. The bike uses a tire size of 120/70-R17 for the front and 190/50-R17 for the rear. The suspension at work is the upside down telescopic forks, which are oil damped and the rear gets a link type, coil spring suspension.

Suzuki GSX-S1000F Colours & Ex-showroom Price

The GSX-S1000F is available in Candy Red with Black and Metallic Triton Blue shade and the ex-showroom price of the bike is INR 12,70,000.
