Royal Enfield launched the Hunter 350 motorcycle in the Indian two-wheeler market with two variants: Retro and Metro, while the Metro has a sub-variant too, called Rebel. Speaking of the retro variant of the Hunter 350, this is the base model but it looks amazing with a stylish design. Finished in two monotone shades called Factory Black and Factory Silver, the 2022 RE Hunter 350 has a great road presence.
Hence, there are various differences between the variants of the bike and hence, starting with the wheels, the Retro version comes with wire spoke wheels which are outfitted with 100/80-17 size tubed tyres on the front and a 120/80-17 size tubed unit at the rear. Furthermore, the braking system has been handled by a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. These brakes are assisted by a single-channel ABS system for better braking during the ride.
As for the features of the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Retro variant, it comes with oval-shaped halogen turn indicators and the taillight is also the conventional halogen taillight instead of the advanced LED unit. If we talk about the other significant variations, there is a notable difference in the switchgear as well, since the Retro version comes with basic hardware. Not only that, but the grab rail in the Retro variant is a traditional tubular unit.
Powering the RE Hunter 350 is a 349cc, single-cylinder, twin-valve, air-cooled unit that is already available in the Meteor 350 and Classic 350 models. This engine is designed to belt out 20.2 HP of max power at 6100 rpm and 27 Nm of max torque at 4000 rpm. This engine is claimed to be more refined and, hence, projected for better performance. In terms of body weight, the bike tips the scales at 177kg, as compared to the 181kg of the Metro variant.
