Design and Style
Piaggio Vespa Esclusivo has got a distinctive retro look with new 'Esclusivo' badges on the front apron and side. Other changes include the new graphics, body decals and dual colored alloy wheels with a combination of Black and Silver. The rest part of scooter remains the same. The beauty of this Italian single piece is enchanted by a lot of chrome inserts on it. The prominent characteristic of scooter is its monocoque design and the steel body which is dipped in a shining and bright paint. It is simple yet looks very classy especially from its front. The stylish round shaped headlight, small tail light, noticeable round shaped grab rail, in built turn indicators and rear view mirrors makes it unique in all. It has got sharp lines on its side panels which gives it a muscular look.
Instrument Console
The Vespa Esclusivo features a simple and fully analogue instrument console that comprises a fuel gauge and speedometer along with indicators for low fuel, oil and battery which keeps you updated.
Dimensions and Fuel Tank Capacity
The Esclusivo comes with a length of 1770mm, width of 690mm and a height of 1140mm as its dimensions along with a kerb weight of 114 Kg. The scooter has a fuel tank capacity of 7.0-litres.
Engine and Gearbox
The Vespa Esclusivo is equipped with the same 125cc, air cooled, 4-stroke, 3-valve, SOHC engine which produce a peak power of 9.92 bhp at 7500 rpm with utmost torque of 10.6 Nm at 6000 rpm and is mated to an automatic CVT transmission.
Safety Features and Storage Space
The scooter's steel body provides better protection at the time of collisions. It is featured with a big, inbuilt lockable glove box and a good under seat storage space. Bag hook is provided above the floor board to carry the essentials.
Brakes and Suspension
It is fitted with 220 mm disc brake at the front and 140 mm drum brake at the rear which works smoothly. The suspension system comprises of arm with coil-spring and dual effect shock absorber at the front and coil-spring with dual effect shock absorber at the rear.
Shades
The Esclusivo is dipped in three striking shades which are Rosso Dragon (Red), Monte Bianco (White) and Nero Matt (Black).
Price
Piaggio Vespa Esclusivo is priced 3500 rupees higher than the VX125 variant. The ex-showroom, Delhi price for this limited edition is Rs.74500 approx., may vary.
