The BS6-compliant model of KTM 390 adventure motorcycle was launched in the Indian market back in January 2020. Currently, it is priced at INR 3.37 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It was first unveiled at the EICMA 2019. It was one of the most-awaited launches for the hardcore touring off-roading fans who want to take the roads less traveled. KTM 390 Adventure Design & Style

The design and style of the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure is similar to the one sold in the international markets. This compact single-cylinder travel-enduro machine has a sporty design attitude. Its versatile ergonomics, innovative technology, smooth power delivery all combine to make it a comfortable, lightweight package built for those who want to fit more adventure in their lives. The saddle of the motorcycle is super comfortable and has an ample amount of space. The handlebar of the 390 Adventure is nice and it is wide. The positioning of the footrest is appropriate which makes it a comfortable ride. The tail lamp design of the bike looks good. The adjustable windscreen of the bike looks good and can be raised to 40mm.

KTM 390 Adventure Engine & Gearbox

The 2023 KTM 390 Adventure is powered by the 373cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-stroke BS6-compliant engine from the Duke 390. It produces 42.3HP of maximum power at 9000 rpm along with 37Nm of peak torque at 7000 rpm. When launched, it was the first BS6-compliant motorcycle by the brand for the Indian market. The twin overhead camshafts, four valves, and electronic fuel injection are integral to the 390 Adventure outstanding power. It delivers the highest level of smoothness. It gets a slipper clutch which saves power and helps in easy shifts. The state-of-the-art engine management system features the electronic fuel injection system with a 46mm throttle body.

KTM 390 Adventure Instrument Console

The New KTM 390 Adventure gets a full-colour TFT display which looks stunning. The display of the bike has a different type of layout. There is an option of motorcycle traction control, to turn it off the rider has to keep it pressed and close the throttle, or it can be turned on with a single click. There is an option of on-road and off-road ABS as well. It is equipped with switchable traction control and gets a bidirectional quick shifter as standard.

The dimensions for the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure are not mentioned on its official website. This adventure motorcycle gets a ground clearance of 200mm which is just great. It has a seat height of 855mm. The motorcycle has a wheelbase of 1430mm while the fuel tank capacity stands at 14.5 litres. As reported by the 390 Adventure owners in India, the real mileage of KTM 390 Adventure stands at around 25.7 kmpl. In terms of performance, the motorcycle can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 6.07 seconds while the top speed of the bike is 155kmph (approximate).

KTM 390 Adventure Brakes & Suspension

New KTM 390 Adventure features an ultra-lightweight yet extremely stable steel trellis frame. The 63.5-degrees steering head angle provides it an off road oriented layout. The suspension duties of the motorcycle are performed by the 43mm WP Apex USD forks at the front and a WP Apex adjustable monoshock at its rear. It gets the upshift exhaust to tackle the tougher terrains. There is a good quality bash plate and a crash bar. The motorcycle rides on dual-purpose tubeless tyres. The stopping power of the bike comes from a 320mm four-piston radial fixed calliper at the front and a 230mm single-piston floating calliper at its rear. It has Bosch 2-Channel ABS which is switchable.

The 2023 KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle is available in two colour options: White, and Orange. The motorcycle features a distinctive style bodywork that provides excellent ergonomics.
