The 2025 Honda RC213V-S Limited Edition is set to revolutionize the motorcycle market with its MotoGP-derived 1,000cc V4 engine, producing around 215 horsepower in road-legal trim and over 220 horsepower with the race kit. This limited edition bike features advanced electronics, Öhlins fully adjustable suspension, Brembo brakes, and high-performance Pirelli slicks. With only 300 units being produced, this bike is a rare gem for motorcycle enthusiasts. I believe this bike is a dream come true for those who crave MotoGP performance on the streets.

Honda has significantly upgraded the RC213V-S, incorporating cutting-edge technology and exclusive features. The bike includes a titanium exhaust system, lightweight carbon fiber bodywork, and aerodynamic wings for added downforce. The seamless quick-shifter, adjustable traction control, and race-inspired launch control system make it a precision machine. I think the attention to detail and the blend of race-track engineering with road-going comfort make this bike truly special.

Hondas RC213V-S is designed with practicality in mind while retaining its racing DNA. The bike features new tires, brake discs, and pads, along with a wider steering ratio. Additional equipment includes Hondas Smart Key and a starter motor. To meet road laws, it is equipped with head/taillights, side mirrors, and other necessary components. I think the balance between racing performance and road practicality is what sets this bike apart.

The production of the RC213V-S involves meticulous craftsmanship, with each component processed by hand and machined to the same specifications as the MotoGP RC213V. The bike inherits many technologies from Hondas racing activities, ensuring it is both powerful and maneuverable. I believe the level of craftsmanship and technology integration makes this bike a true marvel.

The original Honda RC213V-S, launched with a price tag of around £150,000 (approximately Rs. 14.5 million), has seen its value skyrocket, with unused bikes now selling for over £200,000 (approximately Rs. 19.3 million). This bike boasts a MotoGP-derived V4 engine, Öhlins suspension, and Brembo brakes, making it a highly exclusive and powerful machine. I believe the exclusivity and performance of this bike justify its high price tag.

Professional reviews and expert opinions on Honda RC213V-S

13 Jun, 15 04:12 AM

The RC213V-S has been developed according to this Honda principle, making it possible for the RC213V, which has won MotoGP championships for two seasons in a row in 2013 and 2014, to run on public roads.

Honda has revealed the entry of a track beast to the road and announcement for the same was made a few days back. Yes, the MotoGP champion of 2013 and 2014, the mighty RC213V has taken a road friendly avatar, named the Honda RC213V-S. Minimum numbers of changes have been made in the GP blood, in order to get a nearly identical yet road legal version.

The bike which has been racing in the number 1 position for two years is a really special one and having this specialty delivered on public roads makes the things much more interesting for the riders. Track racing is a totally different concept than normal day riding.

The power of the track beasts can make you go crazy on normal roads and that is the only point of objection by the law makers. The versions have to go through many changes in order to get road legal, reducing their power and adding those parts which have been considered weight gainers for the track.

Design & Style

The Honda RC213V-S comes with the same design as its track cousin. The extended windshield serves its purpose of use truly with its extraordinary ability to increase the wind protection, decreasing the drag created by the air. This makes it easy for the rider to cruise on high speeds, reducing the fuel usage by wasting it against the air and also helps while cornering sharply.

The aerodynamic body design enhances its sharpness and performance. The narrow front headlight design is a totally different approach and its twin exhaust system placement makes it a really impressive piece of engineering. One exhaust exit comes onto the right whereas the other one is below the seat, coming out from the rear headlight structure.

Being a single seater, the bike loses its original MotoGP seat meant for sharp cornering positions and gets a flat, nearly non cushioned seat. The bike comes with its own identity now, loses the Repsol paint scheme and gets a tri-color as available in the CBR range. Stylish rear view mirrors are a part of the equipment now.

Engine & Performance

The engine under the fairing of this beast is a 999 cc, Liquid-cooled, four-stroke, DOHC 4 valve, V-4 producing 156.8 BHP @ 11,000 rpm and 102 NM @ 10,500 rpm. The power production has been fascinated with its special sports kit, which further increases the power values from the same machine to 212 BHP @ 13,000 rpm and 118 NM @ 10,500 rpm.

The best parts of all, these values are now legally available on the road, making it one of the most powerful rides available. 234.7 BHP was the power production of the track version, all thanks to its very light and efficient body parts. Surprisingly, the weight of the machine, on its road legal version stays only 170 kg and when sports kit applied, it reduces to a more surprising value of 160 kg.

Now you can imagine how light would the MotoGP version would have been, as most of the parts were removed for a much lighter approach. The bike is a true performer, a one of its kind on the road. It comes with a six speed manual transmission, making it efficient and powerful in every gear and at every speed.

Brakes & Suspension

The braking for such a speedy machine requires more holding power and lesser heat generation. The purpose has been solved with 320 mm dia dual hydraulic disc (YUTAKA) with 4-piston calipers for the front and the rear gets a smaller 220 mm hydraulic disc (YUTAKA) with 2-piston caliper.

The system reduced the heat generation while hard braking and releases the heat as soon as possible from the braking section, with lesser chances of wear and tear at high speeds. The suspension for the front has been painted golden, looking very beautiful and elegant.

They are telescopic gas charged TTX25 spring preload with compression and rebound damping. The rear gets Pro-Link with gas charged TTX36 suspension for the best overall ride quality.

The tyre for the front stays to be the 120/70ZR17 Bridgestone RS10 whereas the rear gets a huge 190/55ZR17 Bridgestone RS10. The 7-spoke forged magnesium alloy makes the ride lighter and much more better when compared to the others.

Shades & Price

The shades available for the road legal version are the unpainted carbon fiber type and the famous tri-color design by Honda. For the RC213V-S, a machine for public roads, the regions with sales planned are Europe, the U.S., Australia and Japan. The manufacturer’s recommended prices are set at €188,000 (tax-inclusive) in Europe (Germany*1), ¥21,900,000 (tax-inclusive) in Japan, A$244,000 (tax-inclusive) in Australia, and US$184,000 in the U.S.

  • Europe (France) – 102 PS/90 NM
  • Japan – 70 PS/87 NM
  • USA – 101 PS/90 NM

Hey guys. Don't take it wrong. It is a nearly matched gp bike ( like 40 to 50%). It has 70% parts of RC213V. But the experience on this bike is not same as motogp bike. You will feel like you riding a gp bike. You can achive some motogp facts like lean angle, mid corner speed, corner exit speed, late braking, the power of engine ( with a racing kit you can get 30 to 40 bhp more). So it can give you a glimpse of gp racing. But the price is high so everyone won't afford this. And it has a long list of maintenance. But if you willing to pay you will not disappointed. And i agree with parthraj it can generate 200+ bhp with kit and some modifications. The same engine in motogp generate 235+ bhp. But for road safety honda has to limited its power.

no comments about driving posture of this bike since it is only for spots races but not for commuter type.

Once again, pathetic product pricing is gonna lead Honda to its downfall in the sports and super bike market; HMSI may be market leaders in scooter department, but unless the overhaul their pricing strategy at least from the 150cc commuter segment with Unicorn to the entry level sports bike segment-- they are gonna face too tough time to handle ; and they are already facing -_-
