Honda CB Trigger was a follow-up model for the Honda Dazzler which was discontinued back in 2013. One of the most stable bikes in the 150cc segment, Honda CB Trigger is a very impressive ride with high quality riding experience and superb performance. With a variety of trims available, a person can choose the best one suiting his needs.
Honda CB Trigger Design & Style
CB Trigger maintains a really nice balance between high end performance sports bikes and reliable 150cc commuter bikes. It has a muscular fuel tank with the 3D Honda emblem on it with a really nice chrome finish. With no fairing around the engine, it shows its naked street biking spirit. The black alloy wheels give it a decent look. The aggressive front headlamps add to a more masculine appeal.
Honda CB Trigger Instrument Console
It comes with one of the most advanced instrument console which comprises of fully digital instrument cluster. The RPM is shown in the digital bar form whereas the speed is shown in digital unit form. Fuel indicator is also in the same digital cluster whereas indicator and high beam notification is on the top.
Honda CB Trigger Engine & Performance
The CB Trigger shares the engine with the Honda CB Unicorn, which is a very trusted one. It’s a 149.1 cc producing 14.35 Bhp @ 8500 rpm and 12.5 Nm @ 6500 rpm. With a mix of power and mileage, the engine is really very reliable and performs whenever needed. It can easily ride on lower speeds in the city without the need of gear changing at short intervals. It can easily reach from 30 to 70 kmph in 6.27 seconds and picks up at very low speeds (even 20kmph) in higher gears.
Honda CB Trigger Comfort while Riding
With its long and comfortable single seat, a rider experiences a smooth ride whether it’s a city ride or a long highway ride. The 17 inch tyres adds to a lesser bumpy ride with the telescopic forks at the front and mono shock suspension at the rear.
Honda CB Trigger Mileage
Honda claims its mileage to be 60kmpl, which is quite a good figure for a 150cc bike. City and highway mileage vary according to the conditions.
Honda CB Trigger Brakes and Suspension
The CB Trigger, for the first time in bike segment features Honda's combi brake system (CBS), which ensures safe braking even at high speeds. This system of combination of brakes can halt down the bike from 60kmph to 0kmph in 20.33m only. Front 240mm disc and the rear 220mm drum equally play their roles and justify the braking performance. Honda features telescopic front forks and a rear mono shock suspension for the best results.
Ride and handling
Honda ensures the riding and handling quality of the bike with the help of a perfect combination of 17-80/100 and 17-110/80 tyres for front and rear respectively. With an efficient weight distribution of the bike, it feels easy to handle at higher speeds also.
Honda CB Trigger Variants
The CB Trigger comes in three variants namely Standard, DLX and CBS.
Honda CB Trigger Colours
Honda offers the CB Trigger in Black, Meteor Green Metallic and Pearl Siena Red.
Honda CB Trigger Prices
The CB Trigger gets a tag of 68,263 for the Standard variant and 71,648 for the DLX. The CBS variant is offered at 78,046 INR.
Verdict
No doubt the quality of manufacturing of Honda products is very high, plus the price also plays an effective role here. Honda still faces a lot of competition in this segment as Yamaha gives a tough competition and more aggression to their bikes.

Worst bike by Honda...its been 5 months m driving this shit, facing fuse problem.. Digital meter, self start and mainly the engine stops working due to rain
I want to this bike
This bike is far better than this review, I had karzima, but still I like this performance of this bike, the taller gear ratio also means this bike don't need frequent gear changes and bike can pickup on 4th gear even on the speed as lower as 20kmph.
The mileage and the styling is very good as well. Please be honest with your review, as trigger owner's are very happy with this bike.
very good braking system...I like this bike.....good design....better ground clearance.......best mileage......
