Bajaj offers the CT 125 X engine with a 5-speed transmission system with an all-down shifting pattern. In place of a traditional fuel-injection system, this engine is fed by an Intelligent Carburetor, making it one of the very few bikes on the market today with this feature.

Bajaj used the square tube, semi-double cradle frame to suspend the new CT 125 X with Telescopic, Stroke 125 mm suspension at the front and SOS with Nitrox, Stroke 100 mm suspension at the rear. Bajaj CT 125 X rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped with 80/100-17 front and 100/90-17 rear tubeless tyres. Two different brake setups are on offer with the Bajaj CT 125 X. Riders can choose between a 130 mm drum brake setup or an optional 240mm disc brake setup at the front end with a 130 mm drum brake setup aided by CBS (Combined Braking System) at the rear end for the advanced safety on the road.
