Aprilia GPR 150

One of the most anticipated sports bikes from the brand, the Aprilia GPR 150 is expected to be launched anytime in the near future as its production-ready image has been recently spied over the internet. Disregarding the original beliefs of launching the same by the name of RS 150, the Indian buyers will most expectedly be getting the version already available in China and even get the same name- GPR 150. The engine configuration for the bike though remains same as promised at the Auto Expo by the officials.

The bike spied tested on the Indian roads is quite different from the one available in European markets while the India-spec model only varies when it comes to the headlights design, the overall fairing and the seat placement. When it comes to choosing the launch of GPR 150 rather than RS 150, the company has made a rather legit decision seeing that they already have a scooter named SR 150.

Coming to the design specification, the Aprilia GPR 150 gets an all-new headlight size with tweaked rearview mirror holders and a bit bulkier fairing as compared to the SR 150. The rider seat though remains identical with the European spec model, the pillion seat gets a new wider and longer overlook. The 1345mm of wheelbase is enough to handle the bike efficiently over the sharp corners. The all-new Aprilia GPR 150 is powered by a 150 cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine capable of generating a maximum power of 18 HP @ 9750 rpm and an utmost torque of 14 Nm @ 7500 rpm. The company officially suggests the bike get more power in order to compete with its rival Yamaha R15 in India.
