Yamaha has announced significant updates to the 2024 WR450F, including a new 450cc four-stroke engine that is lighter and more compact, with increased power across the entire rev range. The engine features larger titanium intake valves, a new piston, and a dry sump lubrication system. This should make the bike more tractable at low speeds and powerful at higher speeds.

The 2024 WR450F includes several enduro-specific features such as a 2.0-gallon fuel tank, multi-function meter with fuel and engine warning lights, and an EPA-approved spark arrestor muffler.
