- Yamaha VMAX is a powerful cruiser styled sport bike from the Japanese manufacturer. It is powered by a 1679 cc, 4-cylinder petrol motor that produces 197.3 BHP at 9000 rpm and 166.8 Nm at 6500 rpm. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and weighs quite high at 310 kg. The high power values makes this bike good for 0-100 kmph timing of just 2.7 seconds. Due to its high weight, the top speed is claimed at 221 kmph. The heavy presence of the bike places it against Ducati Diavel and Harley Davidson Night Rod Special.

Yamaha V-Max uses a 1679cc, V-type 4-cylinder engine.
This liquid cooled engine is known for its tremendous power and torque
production. This engine cracks a power output of 194 Bhp at just 9000
rpm. The torque production of this 4-stroke DOHC engine is of 170 Nm which is achievable at 6500 rpm.
Unlike other 4 cylinder engines, Yamaha has mated this engine with a
five speed manual gearbox having one gear down and four gears up-shift
pattern.
