Moto Guzzi has improved the aerodynamics of the V85 range through extensive wind tunnel testing. The new adjustable windscreen offers 70 mm of adjustability and reduces air pressure on the rider by 37%. The V85 TT Travel features a larger windscreen and air deflectors, reducing air pressure on the rider’s helmet by 50%. These changes should make long rides more comfortable.

The 2024 V85 engine now complies with Euro 5+ emissions standards thanks to variable valve timing, new knock sensors, and an additional Lambda sensor. This has resulted in a 4 horsepower increase to 80 horsepower at 7,750 rpm and improved torque delivery, with 90% of the engine’s maximum torque available at 3,500 rpm. I think this balance between performance and emissions is impressive.

Despite the updates, the V85 range still maintains its unique Moto Guzzi persona, which includes an air-cooled 90° V-twin engine with two valves per cylinder. This engine, though simpler than some modern counterparts, has been refined with variable valve timing and knock sensors to meet Euro 5+ emissions standards. I believe this simplicity adds to the bikes charm.
