On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges.

Expert Verdict
Professional reviews and expert opinions on Kawasaki Ninja 650
The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650 is a versatile sport touring motorcycle that continues to captivate enthusiasts with its blend of style, performance, and practicality. Launched with a fresh color scheme and minor updates, this bike remains a strong contender in the 650cc segment. Here's a comprehensive look at the features, specifications, and appeal of the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650:
The Kawasaki Ninja 650 has long been a staple in the middleweight sports bike category, renowned for its versatility and accessibility to both new and experienced riders. The 2025 model builds upon this legacy with a new aesthetic and compliance with stricter emission norms, while maintaining its core strengths.
Design and Features
The design of the Ninja 650 retains its aggressive and sporty appearance, featuring twin LED headlights and a sleek fairing design that aligns with Kawasaki's Ninja lineage. For 2025, the Ninja 650 is available in a vibrant new color scheme, offering a bold and dynamic look. Additionally, a Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT) edition is available, featuring distinctive decals that evoke the spirit of Kawasaki's racing heritage.
Inside, the Ninja 650 boasts a 4.3-inch digital TFT display that supports Bluetooth connectivity via Kawasaki's Rideology app. This allows riders to access various functions such as call and SMS alerts, music playback, and navigation directly from their smartphone. The bike also features Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), which enhances safety by providing two traction control modes to suit different riding conditions.
Engine and Performance
At the heart of the Ninja 650 is a 649cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. This engine produces 67 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 64 Nm of torque at 6,700 rpm, making it suitable for both city commuting and spirited highway rides. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slipper and assist clutch, which helps reduce the effort required for shifting gears and prevents rear wheel lock-up during aggressive downshifting.
Suspension and Braking
The Ninja 650 rides on a 41mm telescopic fork at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear, providing a comfortable ride and responsive handling. The braking system consists of dual 300mm petal-type discs with 2-piston calipers at the front and a single 220mm petal-type disc with a single-piston caliper at the rear, both equipped with dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety.
Dimensions and Capacity
The bike measures 80.9 inches in length, 29.1 inches in width, and 45.1 inches in height, with a seat height of 31.1 inches and a ground clearance of 5.1 inches. It has a wheelbase of 55.5 inches and a curb weight of approximately 423.4 lbs (ABS model). The fuel tank capacity is 4 gallons, providing ample range for long rides.
Pricing and Competition
The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650 is priced at Rs. 7.27 lakh (ex-showroom), marking an increase of Rs. 11,000 from the previous model. It competes directly with the Triumph Daytona 660, which is priced significantly higher at Rs. 9.72 lakh, and the Honda CBR650R, which offers a four-cylinder engine but at a higher cost.
Conclusion
The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650 is a well-rounded motorcycle that offers a blend of sporty performance, practicality, and affordability. Its new color scheme and updated features make it an attractive option for riders seeking a fun yet versatile bike for daily commuting and weekend adventures. With its strong engine, comfortable ergonomics, and advanced technology, the Ninja 650 continues to be a compelling choice in the middleweight sports bike segment.
Future Prospects
As Kawasaki continues to evolve its product lineup, the Ninja 650 remains a key model, appealing to a broad range of riders. Its ability to balance performance with everyday usability makes it a strong contender in the market. With ongoing updates and new color schemes, Kawasaki aims to keep the Ninja 650 fresh and appealing to both new and seasoned enthusiasts.
Final Thoughts
The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650 is a testament to Kawasaki's commitment to delivering motorcycles that combine style, technology, and performance. Whether you're a beginner looking for a fun and accessible ride or an experienced rider seeking a versatile sport bike, the Ninja 650 offers a compelling package that is hard to ignore. Its blend of power, comfort, and features makes it an excellent choice for anyone looking to experience the thrill of motorcycling.
