- Hero Xtreme Version 1.0 was the first model that evolved out of the old CBZ moniker. It used a 149.2cc, single cylinder air cooled engine that is good for 14.2 BHP at 8500 rpm and 12.8 Nm at 6500 rpm. The motorcycle weighs a lot more than traditional 150 cc bikes, carrying a wet weight of 150 kg. This altered the performance as the motorcycle still was unable to compete against the high performance and torque values of rivals like Yamaha FZ and TVS Apache RTR 160. It was more into the commuter segment and carried CBZ inspired design with modern additions.
