- Ex Showroom Price vs On Road Price
- Ex-Showroom Price is the Manufacturing Cost of the vehicle + Dealer/Seller Profit + GST (Goods and Service Tax) + Transportation Charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges.

Absolutely a masterpiece, the BMW R 18 is one of the most impressive bikes on the market. It has an iconic look, and is equipped with modern technology and high performance components. I am confident that trading in my Triumph Speed Twin for the R 18 is a great decision, and I am sure that I will enjoy this bike for years to come.
I've had the pleasure of testing both the first edition and the classic BMW R18, and I have to say the ride quality and handling are noticeably better on the classic than the first edition. The engine is smoother and more refined, and the suspension is noticeably better. As for carrying a pillion, I haven't had the chance to try it yet, but from what I've heard from other owners, the R18 is definitely better for a pillion than the Harley. The ride is much smoother and the seating position is much more comfortable for both rider and passenger.
After 3k miles and being owned since December 2021, you can't help but love this bike. The miles you put on it, the more it will grow on you. The only downside is the seat. It's like sitting on a wooden stool, so it can get a bit uncomfortable after a while. But, overall, it's a great bike.
Even though electric vehicles are becoming more popular, petrol will still be used for many purposes. It can still be used to make plastic, grease, tar/asphalt, fabrics, and chemical compounds. Petrol will also continue to be used in small vehicles such as motorcycles and even in kerosene-powered planes. However, the biggest polluters are ships, buses, trains, trucks, and cars. Therefore, they should be the primary targets of reducing emissions.
