Tata is a great name in Indian as well as International market and from time to time gave the market, some adventurous and perfectly performing machines. Tata Vista was first launched by Tata in India on August 23, 2011. It is an advanced and better vehicle than Indica and that's why surely got everyone's attention. Now, recently Tata launched an upgraded version of the hatchback as Vista D90 with diesel engine called D90 with two variants named VX and ZX+. It has been accepted very well by the market.

Exterior

The exterior of Tata Vista D90 gave the advanced and stylish look with sporty front radiator grille with chrome slats and company's logo in the middle, stylish triple-barrel headlamps with Follow-Me-Home lights, stylish bonnet, body colored bumpers with chrome lining, 14-inch alloy wheels, front and rear fog lamps with chrome lining around them, infinity contrast roof, body colored rub-rails with chrome lining, premium chrome weather strip, body colored power ORVMs, chromed hood strip, body colored door handles with chrome lining, front roof antenna, chrome plated exhaust pipe, bright tail lamp cluster and mirror polished garnishing below the rear windshield.

This hatch has a length of 3795mm, width of 1695mm and height of 1550mm as its dimension and has a large wheelbase of 2470mm for a stable ride. It has a good ground clearance of 165mm for a bump-free ride and has a minimum turning radius of 5.0m for easy cruising in city traffic and in tight parking spots.

Tata Vista D90 has a 1248cc, 1.3L, 4-cylinder, 16-valve, VGT, BS-IV compliant, Quadrajet diesel engine with a maximum power of 88.8 bhp at 4000 rpm and a maximum torque at 200 Nm at 1750-3000 rpm and has a five speed manual gearbox transmission. It has a top speed of about 160 kmph with the mileage of 19.1kmpl in the cities and 22.3kmpl on the highways in case of both VX and ZX+ variants.

Brakes and Safety Features

Tata Vista D90 has vacuum assisted, independent dual circuit, diagonal split, and hydraulic disk brakes at front and drum brakes at rear. The suspension system is an Independent, Lower Wishbone, and MacPherson Strut with Coil Spring at front and Semi Independent, Twist Beam with Coil Spring and Shock Absorber at rear for great handling. For the utmost safety of its passengers, Tata Vista D90 has Dual front SRS Airbags, ABS with EBD, crumple zones and side impact beams, engine immobiliser, central locking with key-less entry, anti-glare interior rear view mirror, high mounted LED stop lamp, collapsible steering column, rear door child lock, front ELR seat belts and reminders in case of key-in, driver's door unlock and seat belt not tied.

good value for money and powerful indeed, but reliability and maintenance issues may occur as happens with tata passenger cars.... different things start making different noises after 15000 kms...
