2023 Yamaha Motorcycle Range Launched Starting At Rs 1.27 Lakh

Yamaha has launched the MY2023 range of motorcycles in the Indian market with a starting ex-showroom price tag of Rs. 1.27 lakhs for the FZS V4 Deluxe while the price range goes go up to Rs. 1.94 lakhs for the updated model of the R15M. The Japanese manufacturer has introduced the FZS-Fi V4 Deluxe, and the 2023 models of the FZ-X, MT-15 V2, and YZF-R15M.

The Traction Control System (TCS) is now standard on all these bikes, regardless of variant. It regulates ignition timing and fuel injection volume. It does so to adjust engine power output and avoid excessive slippage. This ensures efficient power delivery to the wheel while minimising wheelspin.

Yamaha FZS-Fi V4 Deluxe features a new headlight and LED indicators. It comes with an instrument cluster based on the MT-15 and coloured alloy wheels. It also includes the Bluetooth Enabled Y-Connect App.

The 2023 Yamaha FZ-X is now also available in Dark Matt Blue with gold alloy wheels, and TCS and LED indicators. Both bikes are powered by the same 149cc engine, which produces 12.4 PS at 7250 RPM and 13.3 Nm of peak torque at 5500 RPM.

The 2023 Yamaha R15M features a gear shift indicator, LED flashers, and a coloured TFT instrument cluster. It also comes with Track & Street Mode selector. The standard R15 V4 model now comes in a new Dark Knight colour.

The 2023 Yamaha MT-15 V2 Deluxe comes standard with a dual-channel ABS system, Traction Control System, and new LED flashers. A metallic black colour option has been added to the existing Cyan Storm, Ice Fluo-Vermillion, and Racing Blue colours.

The same 155cc fuel-injected engine powers both the R15 and MT15. This engine produces a max power of 18.4 PS at 10,000 rpm and a peak torque of 14.1 Nm at 7500 RPM. It is mated to a 6-speed transmission with Assist and Slipper clutch.

The FZS-Fi V4 Deluxe and FZ-X models now use E20 fuel. The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer intends to make all its motorcycles E20-compliant by the end of 2023. They also stated that the new MY23 models will also include an onboard diagnostics (OBD-II) system.
