RX450h is actually a direct rival to Mercedes GLC and Audi Q5 but has been placed at a much higher price point, challenging none other than Porsche Macan in its segment. It is powered by a 3.5 liter V6 petrol motor, further using an electric motor to produce a total of 308 HP from the system. Toyota and Lexus are promising to follow the CKD path in the coming future as that will make the cars more affordable and batter placed in the competitive Indian market. They will start with ES 300h as it would attract the most number of buyers.

Lexus even talked about an all new LS500, carrying the powerful twin turbocharged V6 engine producing 415 HP. This makes it good for 0-100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds. It can be expected to arrive in India in 2018. Lexus has priced the products at a really high point and it is to be seen how fans react to the placement.
