Yamaha Motor India unveiled the Ray ZR 125 back on December 20, 2019, and now the brand has officially launched the updated scooter series in India. The Ray ZR 125 is available in two variants while the Street Rally is available in a single variant. Here is the variant-wise ex-showroom price list of the 125cc Ray ZR:
Yamaha has worked on the design traits as well. The two scooters come featured with distinctive styling that has a visor-mounted T-shaped LED DRL, faux air intakes that flank the headlamp along with an angular and sleek tail lamp. The Street Rally version gets knuckle guards, bold paint schemes, and tyres with a rugged pattern.
The all-new 125cc Ray ZR has been equipped with a quiet engine-start system and a stop/start system. The Street Rally also includes several other features that include a new digital instrument cluster and a wider 110-section rear tyre. It also gets a host of accessories that include a front and rear crash guard.
Yamaha has also claimed that the new BS6 engine is 16% more fuel-efficient. The Ray ZR 125 and the Street Rally model will compete against the likes of Hero Maestro Edge 125 Fi and Honda Grazia 125.
