Huge Discount on BS4 Vespa and Aprilia Scooters: As per the latest media reports, some of the Piaggio dealerships are offering discounts of up to INR 40,000 on the Aprilia and Vespa scooters in the Indian markets. The discounts are only valid on the BS4 variants of the scooters and have been specifically offered to clear out the remaining BS4 inventory before the extended deadline ends. The Supreme Court has complied with the terms and as per its decision, the dealerships are now allowed to sell 10% of their remaining BS4 inventory within the 10 days post the lockdown is lifted. Since the last date of the nationwide lockdown has now been extended to May 3, 2020, the manufacturers are expected to open their shutters on the said date which gives them a 10-day window between May 4 and May 13 to sell their remaining BS4 inventory. Thus Piaggio is offering discounts of up to INR 40,000 on its BS4 portfolio of the Vespa and Aprilia scooters.
