The BS6 Suzuki Burgman Street 125 has been officially launched by the brand at a price tag of INR 77,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 125cc scooter is now BS6 compliant while gets a premium of approximately INR 7,000 over its BS4 version.
The scooter has now been equipped with a fuel-injected engine for complying to the BS6 emission norms where the updated engine will be capable of offering smoother power delivery and offer optimum performance when compared to the carburetted engine offered on its BS4 counterpart.
The BS6 125cc engine on the updated Burgman is now capable of offering a maximum power of 8.7HP which is identical to the one offered by the BS4 version though the updated torque now stands at 10Nm which is 0.2Nm lesser when compared to the BS4 variant.

The brand has further equipped the updated scooter with 'Suzuki Easy Start System' while the overall design language of the maxi-scooter remains identical when compared to the BS4 version. The BS6 Suzuki Burgman Street 125 features the identical LED headlight set up at the front mated to a large front apron. The turn indicators at the front also remain the same while the scooter features the identical LED elongated tail lamp at the rear.
In addition to this, the updated scooter will now be available to the customers in a matte red colour scheme which will join the existing colour variants. The suspension duties continue to be handled by telescopic forks at the front while the rear has been mated to a monoshock unit. The braking department is foreseen by a disc brake at the front and a drum brake setup at the rear mated to CBS (Combined Braking System).
The brand is further expected to launch the MotoGP version of the Suzuki Burgman in the coming months that was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2020 though there arenβt any details available on the same.
