Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 Spotted Testing On Indian Roads

Royal Enfield is set to launch the new Shotgun 650 and Meteor 650 in India in the coming months. Rumours suggest that several other bikes in the brand's 650cc portfolio will make their debut in the coming years. This new upcoming RE Scrambler 650 was recently spotted testing for the first time in India, implying a launch soon.

This new bike will share its underpinnings and powertrain with other 650cc bikes. It will continue to use the same parallel-twin motor that produces 47 hp in the Continental GT 650. This bike was first spotted in the UK last month, and it could make its global debut soon.

The new Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 will feature an upside-down triangle-styled side panel. A new small flyscreen, round taillights, round indicators, spoke wheels, and round headlamps. The bike has a 2-into-1 exhaust setup and a single-piece seat setup.

The bike has USD forks up front and an adjustable twin-rear shock suspension setup. A twin-disc brake setup handles the braking duties. The braking system will almost come standard with a dual-channel ABS system.

Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 is expected to include an electric start, Tipper navigation, and a side-stand engine kill switch. The new Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 is expected to debut next year, though the brand has yet to announce an official launch date. Royal Enfield is expected to launch the new Shotgun 650 and Super Meteor 650 in the Indian market soon.
