650cc Royal Enfield Cruiser Is Coming Tomorrow - The Wait is Over!

Royal Enfield has tested a cruiser, a 650cc Classic, a 650cc bobber, and a scrambler. A faired 650cc bike was also recently spotted, which could be the Conti GT 650R. We previously speculated that the first of the new 650cc bikes would be the Super Meteor 650, but as the latest teaser posted by Royal Enfield on Twitter, the upcoming 650cc cruiser is expected to be launched as Constellation 650, and it will be revealed tomorrow at the EICMA 2022 show at 4:00 PM IST.

The new 650cc Constellation will keep the signature retro styling seen on other Royal Enfield motorcycles. The bike has a strong street presence, as evidenced by spy shots. Round headlamps and rear-view mirrors are among the key features. A curved fuel tank, new 3D badging, and graphics are visible. Other features include an offset instrument cluster, twin exhausts, a broad rear fender, and a circular tail lamp.

With its ergonomically positioned handlebar and centrally mounted foot pegs, it appears to be suitable for long journeys. The scooped rider seat section on the bike should provide adequate lumbar support. It also helps to lower the centre of gravity, resulting in better control and handling. It will make it easier for even shorter riders to manoeuvre the bike.

They could include tripper navigation in the kit or an optional feature. It is unclear whether Constellation will receive a dedicated Bluetooth-based connectivity platform. A 648cc parallel-twin engine will power Royal Enfield Constellation. They could tweak engine performance figures to meet Constellation's requirements.

Constellation may receive USD forks soon. It will improve braking control and handling at high speeds. The bike will have twin shock absorbers at the rear. We have seen test mules with a wide rear tyre, which improves the bike's cruising capability. We expect the Constellation to have a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. It will have disc brakes on both ends, and dual-channel ABS.

Royal Enfield could price the Constellation between Rs 3 lakh and Rs 3.5 lakh. It will compete with the Kawasaki Vulcan S and the upcoming Yezdi 650cc bike. It will compete with the BSA Gold Star 650 in international markets such as the United Kingdom.
