3 All-New Maruti Suzuki Cars Are Coming To India - Here Are The Details

Maruti Suzuki India will continue its launch spree in the coming calendar year. Three all-new models are set to arrive in three different segments. Here are all the essential details about the upcoming vehicles.

The five-door India-spec Jimny is expected to make its global debut in January 2023 at the 2023 Auto Expo. It will have a longer wheelbase than the global-spec Jimny Sierra three-door. It will be more practical and spacious on the inside. It will accommodate more passengers while retaining the signature off-roading capabilities.

It will compete with the upcoming five-door Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha. A 1.5-litre four-pot petrol engine with a 4WD system will power it. Jimny will likely have a 9" touchscreen infotainment system with connected car tech.

Maruti Suzuki YTB or Baleno Cross is expected to make its debut alongside the five-door Jimny. The YTB is based on the Baleno and shares the platform and feature set. But it takes design cues from the Grand Vitara and has a distinct coupe-like roofline.

It will be powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. Like the one found in the Baleno RS, producing around 100 PS and 150 Nm. It is unknown whether a 1.2-litre or 1.5-litre petrol engine will be available. It will have a heads-up display, a 9" touchscreen, a 360-degree camera system, automatic climate control, and other features.

Toyota will launch the Innova Hycross in Indonesia next month. It will most likely arrive in India in early 2023. It will reportedly be the first Toyota model to be cross-badged, as it will be supplied to Maruti Suzuki. With exterior changes, it will be distinguishable from its donor and will feature a powerful hybrid powertrain.
