The Nissan Jonga is a perfect choice for any car collection, thanks to its distinct, tough profile. Previously, this off-roader was built for the Indian Army and was in service until 1999. The brand has also made Jonga available to the general public. The civilian variant, on the other hand, was discontinued, leading to decreased sales. With the emerging trend of Jonga, plenty of old Jongas are refurbished, and even some people opt for the modification of their cars into Jongas.
Punjab-based Maan Modifiers has done a great job by turning the Mahindra Bolero into the Nissan Jonga. This modification project was carried out so flawlessly that it’s difficult to tell that the transformed vehicle was a Bolero earlier. The finished product is a carbon copy of the original Jonga. The off-roader features a triangular bonnet, round headlights, a large rectangular front grille, and a Jonga logo on the nose. At the front, an off-road bumper with a tow bar and two tow hooks have been installed.
Looking at the side profile, this vehicle is utterly big and bulky, and the massive wheel arches are stuffed with massive off-road tyres. There are side steps for simple entry and exit, as well as custom ORVMs. At the back, we see a covered cargo bed with a curvy shape. On top of that, there’s a luggage rack with a spare wheel attached. The taillights are rectangular in shape, and the tail features a Nissan logo. In terms of pricing, this modification is estimated to be around Rs. 11 lakh, with a completion time of four months.
