755cc Honda Hornet Streetfighter Officially Unveiled at EICMA 2021

During the EICMA 2021 in Italy, Honda surprised its fans by unveiling its next concept, the Hornet Streetfighter. To mark the comeback of the Hornet brand, the company has released an image and a teaser video as well. However, the Japanese manufacturer has not revealed much information yet, but it stated that the forthcoming motorcycle would be a middle-class motorcycle with a modern design and a high-revving engine profile.

The lines of the 2022 New Hornet Concept are crisp, angular, and aggressive, which is appropriate for the level of current motorcycle design. Because the original Hornet was powered by a 599cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine, we may expect the new Hornet to have an equivalent or larger engine, such as 700cc-800cc.

It is also being said that the forthcoming motorcycle will be powered by a 755cc parallel-twin engine. As a matter of fact, this engine architecture might pave the way for a slew of new bikes, such as adventure and faired models. And if this happens, we may expect the new Honda Hornet to compete with bikes like the 660cc Triumph Trident, which has a strong fan base in India and other places.
