Kawasaki W175 Retro Bike India Launch This Year: According to a report by Autocar India, Kawasaki is planning to launch the W175 retro-classic motorcycle in the Indian markets this year. In terms of pricing, the upcoming bike is expected to get an ex-showroom price tag of around INR 1.25 lakhs to INR 1.40 lakhs.

Mechanically, the Kawasaki W175 is powered by a 177cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is capable of offering maximum power of 13HP @ 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 13.2Nm @ 6,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission. The Indonesia-spec model of W175 still lacks a fuel injection system while the kerb weight and the fuel tank capacity stands at 126 kg and 13.5 litres respectively.

To comply with the BS6 emission norms, the India-spec Kawasaki W175 would be getting fuel injection while the power and torque values are also expected to witness a slight change. At present, the current-gen model of the 177cc motorcycle is available in Indonesia with four colour options: White, Black, Blue, and Silver.

The retro-classic design of the Kawasaki W175 is accentuated by a single-piece handlebar with a round headlight. The brand has equipped the motorcycle with front fork gaiters and upright rearview mirrors. In addition to this, the bike features a blacked-out engine as well as an exhaust system. Kawasaki W175 further features a single-seat saddle while the rear profile has also been offered a classic outlook.
