On the other hand, the 110cc scooters have been replaced with Hero Maestro Edge 125 and Duet 125 which are now BS6-compliant and are capable of offering powerful performance with increased engine capacities. In addition to this, Hero MotoCorp recently replaced the Pleasure (102cc model) with a new and more-powerful 110cc Pleasure+ in the Indian market.
Since the manufacturers have been dealing with millions of losses in terms of the unsold BS4 inventory due to the lockdown, the Supreme Court of India has offered relief to the dealerships to sell 10% of their remaining BS4 inventory in 10 days post the lockdown.
