DSK Confirms Indian Launch of Benelli Leoncino Scrambler and BX 250 Motard

DSK's chairman Shirish Kulkarni has confirmed that the Benelli BX250 and Leoncino will soon make their way to the Indian market. The company has acquired land to set up a new production facility in Pune. Here's a quick overview of DSK's confirmed launches. (1) Benelli BX250 The Benelli BX250 is a robust, solid looking off-roader built to tackle tough terrains. The off-roader derives power from a liquid cooled, single cylinder engine producing a power of 25 horses at 9000 rpm and a peak torque of 21 NM at 7000 rpm. The bike is confirmed to be launched around November-December 2016, and is expected to be priced around Rs 1.45-1.60 lacs (ex-showroom). The scrambler is confimed to launch early next year with a price tag of around 4-5 lacs.
