Aprilia SR 150 Race Edition has been launched in India at INR 70,288 (ex-showroom Mumbai), which is 4 percent more in comparison to the price of regular version of SR 150. The powerful 150 cc scooter now carries the same livery as high end Aprilia superbikes. They have presented Grey, Red and Green combination in exactly the same manner as top spec RSV4 RF. Apart from the multicolored body panels, Race Edition gets Red alloy wheels on both the ends, raising its appeal by a high margin.
The scooter weighs just 122 kg, making it one of the lightest 150cc two wheeler in the Indian market. SR 150 Race Edition rides on 120/70-14 wheels on both the ends. It claims a top speed of 104 kmph but still provides a fairly low 775 mm of seat height. The basic instrument console remains the same on the special edition scooter also. Aprilia shocked everyone with the launch of standard SR 150 scooter in 2016 for just INR 65,000 (ex-showroom Pune).

The front brake caliper is painted Golden while the rear shock finishes itself in typical Red shade. SR 150 Race Edition carries the same 154.4 cc, single cylinder engine producing 10.4 BHP at 6750 rpm and 11.4 Nm at 5000 rpm. The engine comes mated to an automatic gearbox on the sporty scooter. According to Aprilia, they have retuned the CVT gearbox for better acceleration and performance. Aprilia provides loads of equipment like 32 mm telescopic forks, 220 mm front disc, 140 mm rear drum brake.
