A 2021 Altroz owner shared detailed feedback on the vehicle after driving it for over 2 years and 32,000 km. The owner highlighted several issues, including the change from a TFT to an analog instrument cluster due to cost-cutting measures, and problems with the gear display system. I think its important for manufacturers to listen to such feedback to improve future models.

Tata Motors launched the Altroz i-Turbo variant in January 2021, which comes with a new 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 108 bhp. The i-Turbo variant also introduces a new Harbour Blue color. This addition aims to boost the Altrozs performance and appeal. I think the turbocharged engine will make the Altroz more fun to drive.

Pre-bookings for the Tata Altroz began in December 2019, with selected dealers accepting bookings for Rs. 25,000 in Mumbai and Delhi, and Rs. 21,000 in Chennai. The Altroz was set to launch in January 2020 and was expected to rival the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, and Honda Jazz. I believe the Altroz had a strong start with its pre-bookings, indicating good market interest.
