The Outlander GT comes with Mitsubishis Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) system, which includes an active front differential and electronically connects with yaw, stability, and ABS controls. This system offers three modes: Tarmac, Snow, and Lock, enhancing the vehicles traction and stability. I believe this system is a significant improvement for handling various driving conditions.

In performance tests, the 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander GT accelerated from 0 to 60 mph in seven seconds and completed the quarter mile in 15.5 seconds at 92 mph. However, the brakes were noted to be soft and mushy with an on/off feel, and brake fade was an issue. I think the Outlander GTs performance is impressive, but the brakes could be improved.

In terms of fuel efficiency, the 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander GT has EPA ratings of 18 mpg city, 24 mpg highway, and 20 mpg combined. The auto-neutral feature helps improve fuel efficiency by disengaging the transmission when freewheeling is more efficient. I think the fuel efficiency is reasonable for a vehicle in its class.
