Overview
The dynamic and striking Maserati GranCabrio is an example of contemporary style, elegancy and a touch of sportiness. The soft roof-top, the forward slanting rear pillar gives the car a design of a breath-taking coupe`. The long bonnet and the reduced ground clearance give a dashing side view through its sleek built. The powerful grille is inserted with chrome Trident for an elegant look. The chrome finished flank and the rear light clusters in the form of 96 LEDS give the car a very sporty and robust feel. The interior comprises of four individual seats that provide ample space for four adults. The cabin is adorned with the finest materials like the best wood for the dashboard, door panel and the rear flank features. The canvas hood and the wind stop help to maintain a very comfortable interior. Automatic air-conditioning is very efficient for preferable temperature maintenance.
Different shades are available in the hood colors like Poltrona Frau, Bianco Polare and Blu Profondita. The interior of the car is available in shades of Dark Chrome and Carbalho and Moonwood. The wheel rims are available in Silver and Grigio Mercuri. The safety features of the car include two main categories. The active safety measures include Maserati Stability Programme for optimized driving dynamics and safety. The high performance brakes monitor over-speeding. ABS and EBD help in proper stability and traction control. The Electric Park Brake system enables electronic handbrake control. BAS is also available. Passive safety technology includes new generation air bags, extendable roll bars set behind the rear seats and head and chest air bags.
Engine and Gearbox
Maserati GranCabrio comes with only one engine option: 4691cc V8 petrol engine. It generates maximum power of 440 Bhp at 7000 rpm with maximum torque of 490 Nm at 4750 rpm (Maserati GranCabrio). The same engine generates maximum power of 450 Bhp at 7000 rpm with maximum torque of 510 Nm at 4750 rpm (Maserati GranCabrio Sport). The engine is mated to six-speed automatic transmission.
