The 2017 Suzuki Wagon R Stingray was unveiled in Japan on February 1, 2017, alongside the standard Wagon R. This new model features a mild hybrid system, making it the most fuel-efficient miniwagon in Japan with a mileage of 33.4km/L. It also includes advanced safety features like Dual Sensor Brake Support and a head-up display. I think these updates make the Wagon R a compelling choice for urban drivers.
February 1, 2017
Suzuki revealed that the 2017 Wagon R and Wagon R Stingray have been designed to offer more cabin space and enhance user-friendliness. The vehicles feature a new-generation platform called “HEARTECT” which contributes to their fuel efficiency. Additionally, they include practical features like umbrella holders on the inside of both rear doors. I believe these design improvements will appeal to a wide range of consumers.

The 2017 Suzuki Wagon R Stingray was revealed ahead of its Japanese launch, showcasing a sportier version of the standard Wagon R. This model is expected to retain the functional beauty and user-friendly features of the Wagon R while adding a more stylish twist. I think the Stingrays design will attract younger buyers looking for a stylish and efficient vehicle.
January 30, 2017
The 2017 Suzuki Wagon R and Wagon R Stingray were anticipated to feature significant improvements, including the possibility of sliding doors, which would be very handy in urban scenarios. However, this feature was not included in the final models. I think sliding doors would have been a game-changer for city driving.

There were speculations that the Maruti Stingray might not be introduced in India soon, despite the global launch of the 2017 Suzuki Wagon R and Wagon R Stingray. This decision could be due to various market factors and consumer preferences in India. Im a bit disappointed by this, as the Stingrays features would have been a great addition to the Indian market.

I buyed stingray 2 months ago over all ok but not tyres. with in 1000kms 1 tyre got burst and another got bubble both in same area near to rim. but tyre company "GOOD YEAR" rejects that complaint. if u planning to buy think of about tyres that is main important part.
