Ford announced the cessation of the Endeavours production in India on September 9, 2021, due to the closure of its manufacturing plants. However, there are recent rumors that Ford might be planning to return to India with the Endeavour. This move could revitalize the brands presence in the Indian market. I think this could be a great opportunity for Ford to regain its market share.

In 2020, the Ford Endeavour underwent significant changes to comply with BS6 emission norms. The 3.2-litre diesel engine was replaced by a smaller 2.0-litre diesel engine, which produced 167 bhp and 420 Nm of torque. This change was necessary to meet the new emission standards, but it affected the vehicles performance and appeal. I believe this change was a step in the right direction for environmental reasons, but it did impact the driving experience.

In 2019, the Ford Endeavour received a mild facelift that included styling updates and a feature rejig. This update added new alloy wheels, a semi-parallel park assist, and other convenience features like a panoramic sunroof and cruise control. These changes enhanced the vehicles appeal and comfort. I think these updates made the Endeavour even more competitive in the SUV market.

The second-generation Ford Endeavour was launched in India in 2016. The vehicle also featured a new infotainment system and improved ground clearance. I believe this generation marked a significant improvement in both design and technology.

In 2012, the Ford Endeavour received a facelift that included a revised front grille and other cosmetic changes. The front fender assembly, front hood, front headlights, front grille, and front bumper were updated to give the vehicle a fresher look. This facelift also included larger 18-inch polished alloy wheels and a redesigned tailgate. I think these changes helped keep the Endeavour looking modern and appealing.
