The 2019 Ford EcoSport Thunder Edition is priced at Rs. 10.18 lakh for the petrol model and Rs. 10.68 lakh for the diesel version. This move is seen as a response to the competitive market, especially with the success of the Hyundai Venue. I think this edition adds a nice touch to the EcoSports lineup.

Ford India has issued a recall for the 2019 Ford EcoSport due to a defect in the oil-drive belt tensioner arm, which can fracture or separate, causing a loss of vehicle power and power braking assist. This recall affects models from 2016 to 2022 and has left many owners waiting for replacement parts that are not expected to be available until next year. I believe this is a significant safety concern that needs immediate attention.

The 2019 Ford EcoSport carries over mostly unchanged, with the same set of engine and transmission combinations. However, the Sync Connect system has been replaced by FordPass Connect, which offers real-time traffic information and a 4G LTE mobile hotspot. The top-of-the-line SES model now includes a new Black Appearance package. I believe these updates enhance the user experience without altering the core appeal of the vehicle.
