Our Verdict

Expert opinion and recommendation

The Hyosung GT300R is a motorcycle that promises a lot but falls short in some key areas. While it boasts a stylish design with dual headlamps and a generous windscreen, its performance is somewhat lacking compared to its competitors. The bike is powered by a twin-cylinder engine, but it only produces around 27.6 horsepower, which is less than what other motorcycles in its class offer. However, it does provide a comfortable ride with a well-cushioned split seat and an enlarged pillion seat, making it a good option for those who prioritize comfort over raw power. The 15-liter fuel tank is another plus, but the bikes weight of 178 kg can make it feel cumbersome. Overall, its a decent choice for casual riders who value comfort and style, but not ideal for those seeking high-performance.

When it comes to mileage, the Hyosung GT300R is relatively average. It offers a fuel efficiency of around 25-30 kmpl, which is decent but not exceptional. For users concerned about running costs, this mileage is manageable, especially considering the 15-liter fuel tank that provides a reasonable range before needing a refill. Why do they even bother with the GT300R when the GD250R is just as powerful, less bulky, and less weight? Granted if you are 5'11" or more you will like the roominess you get versus the more cramped GD250R.

Does anyone make a Performance ECU for the GD250R like Aracer, PCV, or Bazzaz?

Hyosung GT300 is a good option but you can still buy a Pulsar RS 200 also a sports bike for less than half the cost. ( 1.2 lakhs )
